B Team Travel to Cheadle

The B team is still struggling with injuries be we turned out 12 players against a Cheadle B team with significantly more youngsters.

We started the game well keeping within one goal for most of the first half, Danny Mellor looked strong and scored a number of individual goals.

It was great to see the McCrone father and son combo in action, with both getting on the score sheet.

As has been the case in so many games this year, we are competitive for the first half (uaul a one goal swing either way), and the extra legs/youth on the opposition teams allows them to pull away. A familiar story in the second half as we tired and Cheadle ran away to finish the 14-8 victors.
