Finally the U14s managed to get a game, courtesy of JSN arranging for astro turf facilities to be made available. On this occassion Timperley kindly allowed us use of the Blue pitch, and we suitably went about the process of getting a game on.
This fixture was the last set in the round robin fgroup of fixtures which establishes the cup draws for the semi final of the Centurion Cup.
TYhe highlight of this fixture is the introduction of 2 brand new players, who have been training hard, and getting to grips with this great sport. Both players got game time, and this will only develop over the summer, with good coaching of the fundamentals.
The game itself lacked a bit of quality from the boys in blue, following a strong goal by Isaac, to put us 1 up, we finished the quarter level. Second, third and fourth quarter Norbury always were ahead, with some good players within their ranks and a few players in ours losing their heads it was never going to be a day for us.
