Stockport looked a little rusty; we kept possession well but did not always shoot when given the opportunity. Two goals from Mike Pomfret. We won the ball back well.

Q2: 5-0 (7-0)
We were growing into the game and were working hard all over the pitch. We won the quarter five nil. Good face offs this week by Thomas S & Callum meant we had more possession and used it well. Three goals for Thomas Mc & two for Mike.

Q3: 1-1 (8-1)
The opposition got a goal and this lifted their game. Good defensive play meant we had a good share of possession and we came out even in a close fought quarter.

Q4: 3-1 (11-2)
We finished the game well, all the team got of plenty of play. Two goals from Thomas Mc & a goal from Ryan.

A good game and a good level of play from both teams. We used our plays to good effect to break down their defence. No personal fouls, was a plus. Thomas S & Callum deserve a mention for good face off work. The defence was good when called upon. Shooting could be improved, with eleven goals out of 32 shots. Although their goal keeper did make ten good saves. Good handling from the team today.
