Stockport U16’s V Brooklands_ Win 15-6

Q1: 5-1
A slow start this week, we were missing chances with some wayward shooting. Brooklands took full advantage and went on to score first. This is when our boys woke up, and played some direct decisive lacrosse. We ended the quarter well in the lead.

Q2: 4-2 (9-3)
The boys kept going and enjoyed the majority of possession due to good face of work by both Thomas S & Calum. Some very well worked goals with lots of movement.

Q3: 5-2 (14-5)
The opposition fought back, and got themselves back into the game at 10-5. Rollo brought on a strong line up to keep us in control of the game.

Q4: 1-1 (15-6)
We played the game out, and to the credit of Brooklands their team kept going until the end.

A good win against a well organised opposition. Face of practice is paying dividends with some good work by Thomas S & Calum. A good team performance, but still room for improvement. We need to work harder at movement off the ball when we are attacking. We need to keep practising those stick skills. “Make good habits and they will make you”.
